Becoming a Member at Rolling Hills
There is something very special and exciting about being an integral part of a successful team-whether it is in sports, business or the local church.
At Rolling Hills Community Church, we are a group of diverse people who are committed to bringing glory to God by growing in our relationships with Jesus, and reaching our neighborhoods and ultimately the world with the love of Christ.
Why is it so important to be a member of the church?
It is okay to just show up on a regular basis, but consider the advantages of becoming a part of the team:
- The Bible encourages us to become a part of the local church. People who called themselves Christ-followers participated together in a specific church.
- People who commit to membership become part of the team. They are the ones who become the movers and shakers in the local church. You have the opportunity to be actively involved in a place that God is using to truly impact this world for Jesus Christ.
- Church membership is a strategic spiritual step that allows a person to grow from a Sunday morning spectator to daily participation in one of the greatest organizations in our society-the church. Once committed to Rolling Hills as a member, your spiritual journey will accelerate as you connect with this biblical community.
What do I have to do to Join?
There are 4 steps to becoming a member of Rolling Hills Community Church.
- Become a Christ-follower. a person who has a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, recognizing that Christ is the only way to heaven.

Baptism by immersion. after you have accepted Christ as your personal Savior, the Bible is very clear about following Christ in the ordinance of believer's baptism. By being baptized, immersed under water, you are joining with Christians who throughout history have professed their allegiance to Christ by identifying with His death, burial and resurrection.
- Complete the RHCC Membership Class. This is an exciting, one-time class that is available each month. Before you become a part of the team, we want you to know all about our vision, plans and ministries as a church. Before you join in the journey, we want you to know the destination.
- Enter into a relationship with Rolling Hills Community Church through a membership covenant. This covenant is between you and the entire church joining us together in a commitment of love, encouragement and mutual support.
Member Development
Rolling Hills is committed to helping our members grow spiritually. In addition to membership class, offered monthly, Rolling Hills offers a follow-up course, "Discovery," which is designed to help our members understand the gifts and passions God has given them, as well as places within Rolling Hills they can use these gifts to do great things for God.
